The key aim is to provide positive and unique projects that directly support violence reduction. Pythian will ensure that at-risk young people are provided with positive, sustainable opportunities that divert them from crime and antisocial behaviour.

The plans will initially support 100 young people, including those from the BAME community and other diverse backgrounds, specifically targeting young people aged 14-19 and up to the age of 25 in the areas of New Basford, Berridge, Bulwell, Radford and Hyson Green. Referrals will come from the DWP, Futures, Nottingham College and Victim Care. Each young person will be supported through a pastoral care system comprising of two individuals who will liaise regularly with each referral to ensure their needs are met and any barriers to attendance/learning are addressed.
